July 2010 Newsletter Cashmere Cider Mill Tasting Room
With grateful hearts we share our most recent Cashmere Cider Mill Happenings.
First of all, a significant fire crested in Woodring Canyon behind our tasting room 2 weeks ago, our hearts raced wildly as we received the 1 AM phone call…but all is well! Surrounded by more then 20 firefighting rigs we opened for business at 10 AM and served all our weary travelers. More Details:
http://cashmere.ncwcommunities.com/stories/mission-creek-fire-sweeps-canyon-while-town-slumbers/ We continue to daily serve Lady Blush artisan cider, Welcoming travelers from many states and countries, this week alone, 40# from Texas went on our orchard hayride tour, picked cherries, and tasting tour of Lady Blush Cider Mill....Others from Poland, India, Costa Rica, Canada, and many US states.
We just finished our short season of Cherry Picking Orchard Tours, certainly a complete culinary adventure with basket in hand, tasting as we go…chilled cherry cider to quench thirst, and cherry milkshakes to finish off the afternoon. **Next up Peach, Pear & Apples.
New this summer, our 5 course Luncheons served outdoors, with an extra special touch, July featured Lady Lavender, up next * Peach, *Pear, & *Apple in the coming 60 days. We love to go the extra mile and spare no detail putting these events on, plan for your club group, ministry team, office staff to experience there very own version planned just for your group, or join us on our specific luncheon dates Aug, Sept, Oct, reservations required.
